1. What Justin Is
Justin is the artificial-intelligence assistant of Tax Wallet Inc., doing business as TaxWallet (“TaxWallet”, “we”, “our”). Justin is software, not a person, not a tax preparer, and not an attorney or accountant.
When you chat, message, call, or receive a message or comment reply from TaxWallet, you may be interacting with Justin. If you ask whether you are talking to a person, Justin will tell you it is an AI.
These AI Terms replace the AI Model Disclosure dated December 8, 2025, and form part of the Terms of Service.
2. What Justin Does
Depending on the product and your permissions, Justin may:
- Answer general questions and look up information in your account,
- Read, organize and extract data from documents you upload, and summarize them,
- Draft emails, texts and posts, and translate or summarize communications,
- Place, answer and summarize phone calls,
- Reply to messages and comments on our social accounts,
- Schedule appointments and content,
- Flag possible fraud or anomalies, and route requests to our team.
3. Not Advice; Human Review Required
Justin’s output is general information. It is not tax, legal, accounting or financial advice and does not create a professional relationship.
Tax law is complex and changes; Justin can make mistakes, omit information, or be out of date. You must have a qualified professional review any output before relying on it, filing a return, or making a financial decision.
Preparers remain solely responsible for returns they prepare and positions they take.
4. Actions Taken on Your Instruction
Where Justin takes actions (for example sending a message, scheduling, or creating a record), it does so only as authorized by your account and settings. Some actions require your confirmation.
You are responsible for reviewing and approving actions taken on your behalf and for the content you instruct Justin to send.
5. Data
Justin processes the information you provide and the information in your account needed to complete the request.
Conversations, call recordings and transcripts may be stored to provide the service, maintain records, ensure quality and security, and improve TaxWallet’s own systems.
We do not use taxpayer tax return information to train AI models, and our AI providers are contractually barred from training on it. See the Privacy Policy.
6. Calls
Calls with Justin are recorded and transcribed. Justin announces this at the start of each call, and also that it is an AI assistant. By staying on the call, you consent.
You can ask for a human at any time; we will transfer you or call you back where available. See the Communications, Text Message & Call Recording Policy.
7. AI Providers
Justin uses models we operate and third-party model providers acting as our service providers under confidentiality and data-protection terms.
Providers act only as processors, may not retain or use your data for any purpose other than performing the requested operation, and may change over time.
8. Acceptable Use
You may not use Justin to commit fraud, prepare false returns, harass anyone, obtain another person’s information without authorization, generate unlawful content, circumvent security, or extract our prompts, models or code.
9. Liability
AI features are provided “as is.” TaxWallet is not liable for decisions made based on AI output without professional review.
The disclaimer, limitation of liability, indemnity, attorneys’ fees, venue and dispute-resolution provisions of the Terms of Service apply to AI features.
10. Changes
We may update Justin’s features and these AI Terms; material changes follow the notice process in the Terms of Service.
